The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent their first full day in New Zealand in Wellington, visiting the iconic Maranui Café to talk mental health with various youth representatives.
The pair moved between tables inside the cafe to meet with various local organizations, while outside they met with children who had lined up to meet them. The meeting proved overwhelming for one small child, who Harry and Meghan took extra time to stoop down and greet.
Meghan opted for a casual ensemble – black Outland jeans, a black Jac & Jack Twain sweater and black lace-up Stuart Weitzman heeled boots. The boots, by the way, are amazing. Usually these all black get-ups can get to be too much, but for me this worked because of the addition of the grey Club Monaco coat.
She changed to a pair of white trainers when the couple then popped over to the Abel Tasman National Park, a wilderness reserve at the north end of South Island.
The photos of the two walking along the beach are lovely, even with the umbrella-inducing weather(!)
All in all, a win in my book. I’m going to keep moving to cover subsequent engagements, so more to come!
I love the way they look at each other. It is just so wonderful 💗
