The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were at the Sentebale Polo Cup today – Harry to play and Meghan to cheer him on while wearing Caroline Herrera. We all have our roles in life.

Ahead of the game, the couple posed for photos with Sentebale’s CEO Cathy Ferrier and chairman, Johnny Hornsby, as well as renowned polo player Nacho Figueras. The proceeds are going towards Sentebale’s HIV/Aids initiatives, corresponding with Harry’s recent trip to the Netherlands (more on that tomorrow).

Today’s event was held in Berkshire, and in-between photos and the match itself, the couple sat down to a lunch that included mozzarella ice cream in a parmesan cone. I need to spend some time mulling that one over.

Harry’s team eventually won the day 5-4, and Meghan presented the trophies.

Figueras told reporters:

“She [Meghan] said she enjoyed the game. She watched the game with my wife which was wonderful because she could learn more about the game. It was great that I got to play with Harry because we normally play against each other. Harry played great. They are very, very happy together.”

Also on hand was Mike Tindall (Zara’s husband), who answered questions about their new baby, Lena, saying all was well, but that England’s current warm weather was negating the use of all the baby clothes they purchased. Not a bad problem to have, I suppose!

On to fashion: Meghan’s dress is by Carolina Herrera, while her clutch is from J.Crew and her heels are Aquazzura.

I love the cut of this dress, but I’m not on board for the denim fabric. At this point, I’m only loving this when she’s not directly in the sun, which is shame because I really want to like this, and yet…

Anyway, we’re reaching the end of the month and the August break is looming. There’s nothing on the books (that I know of) for Harry or Meghan in the coming weeks, while the Duke of Cambridge is due to be in Amiens solo on August 8. Beyond that, I think we’re in wait and see mode for everyone until September!
