Back on November 26, 2018, The Telegraph’s Camilla Tominey wrote an article that in the lead-up to the Sussexes’ wedding, The Duchess of Sussex made The Duchess of Cambridge cry. The incident was described as having taken place at a dress-fitting for the bridesmaids, but the why or how was not included. All that was noted at the time was that Kate was particularly “emotional” because she had only given birth to Prince Louis a couple weeks before.Continue reading “These Ridiculous Bridesmaids Dresses”

The Cambridges Set to Move to Windsor
It’s official (ish) – the Cambridges are set to move to Windsor this summer. The Times reported over the weekend that William and Kate are due to move into Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate, with their three children enrolled in a Berkshire school this autumn.Continue reading “The Cambridges Set to Move to Windsor”
Louis, Lili, and Royal Parenting
The Platinum Jubilee was ostensibly about celebrating public service that began in 1952 from a woman born in 1926, but there’s an argument to make that the House of Windsor’s children won the day on the subsequent news cycle.Continue reading “Louis, Lili, and Royal Parenting”
The Platinum Jubilee
Happy Monday, everyone. As many of you no doubt saw, this weekend marked the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in London, recognizing an unprecedented 70 years of service from Queen Elizabeth II. Instead of going event by event, I decided to wrap up major themes from the festivities in one all-encompassing post, so here we go.Continue reading “The Platinum Jubilee”
George & Charlotte Make Their Christmas Debut
Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is having a happy and relaxing holiday. As we speak, I am typing this next to my sleeping Cavalier King Charles, a roaring fire, and a very festive Christmas tree 🙂 With presents opened and an interlude before dinner, it seems like a good time to check in with the Royal Family. As many of you have no doubt seen, this was a big year over at Sandringham: Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined the Christmas Day walkabout.

The Queen’s 2019 Christmas Luncheon
Every year the Queen hosts a luncheon at Buckingham Palace about a week out from Christmas. It’s an opportunity for the entire family to gather for the holidays and ensure that even those who don’t decamp to Sandringham have an opportunity to see everyone. The Queen herself is expected to head out to Norfolk on Friday, while I would imagine the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge won’t leave until the weekend. Today’s event is private, but every year we do get arrival shots of cars passing through the BP gates, which is always a bit fun.
Royal Roundup: The Swedish Royal Family, Football & a Middleton Wedding
Let’s catch up on some odds and ends from the last couple of days. For starters, Thursday is World Mental Health Day, an event commemorated by the Cambridges and the Duke of Sussex for the last couple of years. This year, the one-time “fab four” have reunited to lend their voices to a PSA promoting the initiative “Every Mind Matters” directed by Richard Curtis.

Royal Roundup: Charlotte’s First Day of School, Balmoral & Andrew’s Engagements
Princess Charlotte officially started “big school” this morning at Thomas’s Battersea. The four-year-old princess was escorted to her first day by big brother Prince George and her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, while the family was greeted at a side entrance by the same teacher who met William and George two years ago.

Royal Roundup: New Engagements & Crisis PR

Royal Roundup: Budget Flights & Instagram Stories
Happy Friday, everyone! I promise we are returning to history (in fact, there are two posts on Richard III scheduled for Saturday and Sunday), but in the meantime I wanted to wrap up some smaller news items from the last few days.
