Harry & Meghan Attend Coach Core Awards

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex carried out an engagement for Coach Core at Loughborough University today, during which they played a game of netball and oversaw an apprentices’ awards ceremony. Like the Cambridges many times before them, the two engaged in some friendly competition by leading opposing shootout teams – unfortunately for Meghan, Harry’s team won the day 3-2.

Let’s blame it on the fashion, shall we? Though the Duchess chose trousers, they were Altuzarra and paired with a pair of Aquazzura stilletos. Rounding it out was a blue top by Oscar de la Renta whose peplum detailing sparked plenty of pregnancy chatter on Twitter. I’m going to maintain the same position that I did with the Duchess of Cambridge last year – we’ll know when an announcement is made. While I doubt we’ll be waiting a long time for baby news, presumably the upcoming foreign tour is a bit of a wrinkle.

I’m going to keep tonight’s post short since I’m a bit late to the party and I need to get to bed, BUT one more anecdote from today to note is that when asked, Meghan acknowledged that she hasn’t been watching the latest version of Suits. Fair enough.

Finally, a quick video from Kensington Palace:

Meanwhile, Hello is reporting that Harry and Meghan spent a long weekend in Amsterdam celebrating the opening of the newest Soho House. As we know, the private club has played a prominent role in the couple’s relationship – they had their first date there in Toronto and regularly frequent it in the UK.

And with that, goodnight. Meghan is due for another engagement tomorrow, which I will do my best to cover before the end of the day, but it may need to wait until Wednesday thanks to a busy schedule. Until then!
