Last night the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent the night at a private resort on the isle of Vatuvara, but it was back to business in the morning with the unveiling of a statue in Nidi. The engagement, honoring Sergeant Talaiasi Labalaba, marks the last in Fiji – later today the couple fly to Tonga for roughly 24 hours before returning to Sydney for the Invictus Games’ closing ceremonies. We’re officially in the home stretch of this marathon tour!
The President of Fiji, Major General Jioji Konrote said in his goodbye remarks:
“Thank you for coming to Fiji and gracing us with your much welcome but very short visit. It’s good to know that you promise to come back. May Almighty God be with you now and in the future.”
Meghan debuted a new emerald green Jason Wu dress that she paired with her navy suede Manolo Blahnik heels and a navy Dior clutch. I like the dress just fine, but I really love about this is that 1) it’s color and 2) I really like the combination of the deep green and blues. I’ll call it a hit in my book, if for no other reason than it’s a nice change up from the black and navy…or the pink floral pom-poms 😉
The couple has just landed in Tonga, so I’m off to the next!
